What is the Summit about?
This Summit will inspire HR professionals to harness that advantage to drive equity, wellness, innovation, and ethical leadership.
Human Advantage is a bold, confident progression from 2024’s theme of More than Human. It positions people as the defining strength in an era of rapid change, balancing equity, innovation, wellness, law, and technology.

What is the cost to attend?
The HRPA Summit offers members and non-members in person and virtual pricing, as well as individual and group pricing, specific to the location of your choice. Full pricing details can be found on the “Pricing” menu tab.
What is included in the registration price?
All in-person registration fees include access to the live, in person sessions, post event materials, all meals and activities throughout the conferences.
All virtual registration fees include access to the virtual event platform, all live virtual sessions, and post event materials.
Are there accommodations for dietary restrictions?
All meals will offer choice and accommodation for dietary needs and items will be labelled. Please be sure to indicate any dietary restrictions or allergies when completing your registration. For any allergies, please speak to the banquet servers or HPRA staff onsite for specific notes.
Is there a discount for group registrations?
Yes! Register your group of 5 or more to save. There is group pricing for 5, 10 and 20 registrations. Group pricing is available for in person or virtual participation and can include members and non-members. Full pricing options can be found on the “Pricing” menu tab.
Is this event completely an “in-person” event or does it include virtual/hybrid elements? If so what elements are in-person only, virtual, hybrid etc.?
This event will include in-person options for three locations: Toronto, London, and Ottawa. It will also include an option to participate virtually with content being streamed live from the Toronto main stage. Programming from London and Ottawa will not be available virtually. Specific programming can be found under the Toronto, Ottawa and London location tabs.
What should I bring when attending in-person?
We hope participants will be present and in the moment of learning and recognize that individuals learn in a variety of ways. Bring your own device – laptop, tablet, mobile device, whatever works best for you – or notebook and pen if that’s your preference.
What is the dress code?
Dress in whatever you feel comfortable in! We recommend Business casual and layers.
Will there be Wifi?
Yes, complimentary Wifi will be available at each of the locations.
Will there be an opportunity to interact with the presenters and speakers during the event?
Registration Specific Questions
When is the deadline for registration?
In person registration will remain open as long as space permits. Walk-in registrations will be accepted at Toronto, London and Ottawa locations permitting these locations are not sold out. If registration reaches capacity, a waiting list will be enabled. Space is limited for each in-person location, so we suggest registering early.

What if I register but need to cancel?
What if I’m unable to participate in the live in person or virtual event?
Our cancellation policy can be found on the “Pricing” menu tab.
As long as your registration remains, even if you do not attend virtually or in person – you will still gain access to all event resources and recordings post event.
Can I change my registration?
For changing your registration from in-person to virtual after October 5, email summit@hrpa.ca noting your registration change. To access the livestream, visit your email confirmation and look for the “livestream” link.
For in person substitutions after November 26, please email summit@hrpa.ca noting the registration change with the substitute name and email address. We will process your request as soon as possible to have your guest check-in smoothly. In the meantime, they can proceed to the registration desk in your location.

How can I become a speaker?
Thank you for your interest in speaking at HRPA events.
We carefully review each submission to ensure alignment with our members’ needs, event themes, and programming objectives. To be considered for Summit speaking opportunities, or other HRPA Events. please submit your credentials through our Contact Form.
While we are unable to respond individually to every submission, our team will reach out if and when an opportunity arises that is a strong fit for your expertise and experience.

Where do I get registration support or further event inquiries answered?
How can I make accessibility requests?
Please email summit@hrpa.ca with subject line: Accommodation Request. Please also indicate any accessibility needs when completing your registration.
What if I experience technical difficulties or trouble logging in during the event?
Email summit@hrpa.ca with subject line: Technical Support.
How do I access the virtual event live stream?
You will receive an email confirmation and reminder communications leading up to the event with a personalized link to access the virtual event platform.
Note: The event platform will open 48 hours ahead of the event date. The livestream will begin at 8:00 AM EST on October 19.
Once the platform is live, access the sessions by signing on using the primary email address that you registered with.
Recordings will be made available to all registrants post-event.
